i love the program.there is only one problem.on many downloads, the download slows down from 80% to 98% and stops.and will not resume.no madder what,i try.i also get strange to me writhing,over the toolbar.and the toolbar, will not work any more and i have to delete,the same and reinstall again.Wye is that so?

Download Accelerator is great . I wont use anything else . But I would like to know why it often tells me that it is not my default download manager. I have even uninstalled and reinstalled so I can tick the box making it my preferred manager it works for a whilethen back it comes........Jan Takacs

Works great with "normal" websites. Tried to download some documents from a QuickPlace (Lotus Notes) site as an archiving experiment but didn't succeed. Comes up with the password request but fails to download. Mario

This is superb. I am about to go with my 80-year-old father to Northern France and Belgium to where my grandfather (his father) served during the 1914-18 War. Since 3G broadband is still stupidly expensive for UK users abroad, I was expecting to have an internet 'blackout'. Thanks to PageNest, we can take various key websites with us ... and it is SO easy to use - sincere thanks !!!

This program is great for multiple uses. I am using it to make sure I always have a website that I am worried might not be there in a few months.

Best free choice I have found so far but: Program is not stable, crashed on me several times. Even though I tell it not to relink anything it insists on altering code. My purpose for this type of tool is to download potential clients existing sites and make changes to it as offerings to them. But unfortunately it did not help me too much because I am trying to use it to download entire websites with it's all links content which are pictures(photos) but your program download only the first page and what I got only the small images which are very small and iam looking for the large pictures from the gallery website. And I want to get what I am in need of while I am online in my workplace so that I can surf them offline while I am home.

A lifesaver. I have been using this product for a few months now. It continues to surprise me how many uses it has. I use it to download from mms streaming content as well as for all my other music and video downloads.

Didn`t work for me. I ended up uninstalling the program because it would lock up after about 5 minutes consistently across 2 computers. Had to reboot and could just kill the process with the task manager. Good interface, but it has some deep root problems that need to be fixed.

I downloaded Free Download Manager 3 and used it immediately. It is, in fact, averaging four to six times faster than downloads performed without it. It is not intrusive and is very straightforward in use. The only issue that I have- and this goes for all download managing software- is that it is not always a simple matter to actually provide the correct link on some downloads as the URL is essentially masked from you. I have yet to try downloading torrents with it. This program is outstanding, though. Thanks!

I peviously used FDM integrated with Firefox , as it eliminated the need to start again if the net connection dropped out . But recently I tarted to use Chrome which doesn\'t seem to have the the same ability to integrate with FDM , so I have gone back to Firefox . Which has solved my download problems

it is the most annoying product i have tried, some file are missing, wont delete, wont download & wont repair, wont do what it\'s supposed to do, spent 7 hours playing with it, still no good , so i replaced the computer, computers are as cheap as chips, i had the computer for 5 years gx620 dell,good unit,your product worked for 525 days, fine, my time 7 hours x €80.00 = € 560.00 new unit € 425.00,i will not use it again , googled your product similar complaints your product needs a rebuild you guys are loosing out, pity

I\'ve used it for a good while without any problems,...BUT a few days ago I tried to disable it so I could download a program that would not download w/ a download manager. It would NOT allow me to do so -- even after I uninstalled it. It keeps inserting a nag screen. Help me get this off my drive.

Opinion This is a really good product as it is simple to use and does what it says on the tin. BUT despite the free registration code procedure being followed to the letter I have been unable to get registered. This results in the product going slower and slower and slower, to the point where I will probably get something else.

I tryed to uninstall this "FRESH DOWNLOAD" but i did not succeed.. It still pops up telling me that "-Fresh download cant take over this download" Im using IE 8, Firefox 3.0.11 and GOOGLE CROME. fresh download Your download was supposed to be an optimizer for a computer. It's a downloader, not an optimizer. I've deleted it from my system. If your downloader makes things download FASTER...maybe that would be worth something to me in the future.

suggestions for improvement I usually Opera as a browser and my computer is an x32 model of about 6 years old. I use Fresh Download instead of the built-in Opera facility but I sometimes wonder whether I am better off now. It is faster than Opera's but it takes long to get started. I suppose that the immediate start off of Opera's compensates for its slower pace once started. Moreover, Opera's is more reliable: it always finishes a download in one single effort where as Freshdownload often has to be restarted. I installed Orbit but it failed to download a stream from icricTV.com so I cannot comment on its functionality. But let me tell you about this site: I had subscibed to this cricket site and need to log-in each time before watching live. After logging in, icricTV takes me to the page where I select the stream which then starts to download. Rapidshare downloading I was told that Orbit Downloader can download files from Rapidshare much faster than regular downloading because it downloads on several connections at the same time. I installed Orbit Dowloader and tried. No surprise at all. The downloading speed is as low as downloading with Internet Download Manager or Internet Explorer. RT
